Minister of Transport Kamel El-Wazir recently met with Frank Hartmann, the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany in Cairo. During their discussion, Minister El-Wazir highlighted the excellent cooperation between Egypt and Germany in implementing significant transport projects. Additionally, Minister El-Wazir mentioned ongoing collaboration on the Tahya Misr container terminal project at Damietta Port. Furthermore, cooperation with the German company Herrenknecht involves supplying tunneling machines for Egypt’s fourth metro line. The German side remains committed to expanding mutual cooperation, particularly in the rapidly developing transport sector.
