A flyover filmed in May shows the latest progress on the Transmission Gully motorway, due to open in 2021. The opening date for Wellington’s Transmission Gully has been delayed due to Covid-19, with a new date yet to be confirmed. Costs for the project blew out from $850 million to $1.25 billion after missing the initially planned opening date of April 2020.
