Transit homes which became permanent - Focus

A SENSE of helplessness came over Bukit Kiara longhouse resident Vengidensalam Raju, 68, when asked about his almost fourdecade wait for the new house promised to him. I have been following the Taman Rimba Kiara issue since 2016, when a proposed development signboard was erected at the site. From the perspective of the longhouse residents, it is not surprising that they do not trust the government after 37 years. These people are frustrated that it is taking such a long time to move them to permanent homes. Is the decision to give up a little space around Taman Rimba Kiara to build these affordable houses too much to ask?
