Premier League clubs are permitted to send a maximum of six senior players out on loan to international clubs at any given time. Clubs could previously send an unlimited number of their squad out on loan, but it led to teams stockpiling players. Clubs can loan a maximum of three players to the same team in another country at once. That is after a vote by Premier League clubs on a temporary ban on related-party loans did not receive the required support in November 2023. Brighton, Chelsea, Crystal Palace, Manchester City, Manchester United, Nottingham Forest and Newcastle United are all part of multi-club ownership models.
