Great Western Railway services running between Reading and Slough towards London Paddington are currently delayed due to a safety inspection on the track. Trains on this section of the line are running with a 20mph speed limit and therefore services may be delayed as a result. GWR has advised disruption will last till 4pm today (November 24). Customer advice on the disruption from the GWR website reads:“One of our drivers has reported a rough ride between Reading and Slough on the fast line to London Paddington. “As such, a 20mph speed restriction must be imposed until Network Rail track staff attend and inspect.
