A learner skydiver on his 12th jump is in a serious condition after a horrific skydiving accident on a highway. The man suffered multiple serious injuries after a rough landing on Brisbane Valley Highway at Toogoolawah, 90 minutes south-west of the Sunshine Coast in Queensland. He was training under Skydive Ramblers Toogoolawah, which offers learn to skydive lessons and tandem jumps. The federation, which regulates skydiving in Australia, will investigate whether equipment, human error, or weather conditions played a part in the incident.
