Police are stunned no one was injured when a train carrying 90 passengers slammed into a semi-trailer at a rural railway crossing. Emergency services rushed to Lakes Road at Tharbogang, on the western outskirts of Griffith in rural NSW at about 9.30am on Tuesday, where they found the truck splayed out over the tracks on its side. The locomotive had smashed into the heavy vehicle dragging it about 50m before coming to a halt. 'Both drivers underwent mandatory testing and provided a negative breath result.' Inquiries are now underway to determine the cause of the crash and if either of the drivers will be charged over the incident.
