Eldoret East Officer Commanding Police Division (OCPD) John Owuoth said the student may have developed some health complications while swimming during the 6pm incident on Friday. Mr Owuoth said the student jumped into the swimming pool when his colleagues discovered that he was sinking. His colleagues have reported that that he jumped into the water and sunk without swimming,” said the police boss. He said police are still recording statements from the student’s colleagues and the hotel management.
