Police are investigating an incident in which a 10-year-old girl was found dead in their house in a suspected suicide in Kasarani area, Nairobi. Her mother told police their house girl called to report the deceased’s body was hanging in the bedroom. In Ngarua area, Nyahururu, the body of Ibrahim Mwangi Kaburu was found dangling from the roof of his house after an apparent suicide. Cases of suicide involving both adults and children have been on the rise at an alarming rate. The body was moved to the mortuary pending further probe into the cause of the fire that also left many homeless.
