Traffic standstill at South Klang Valley Expressway after trailers collide - Nation


KLANG: Traffic came to a standstill for several hours after two trailers transporting toulene (paint thinner) and LPG gas and a container collided at the South Klang Valley Expressway heading towards Pulau Indah Monday morning. The container driver died at the scene while the two trailer drivers were injured in the accident. A Hazmat team from the Selangor Fire and Rescue Department was sent to the scene to check a suspected leak of toulene. Teams from the Banting, Port Klang and Shah Alam fire stations were also at the scene after receiving a call at 8.52am. The injured drivers were rushed to the Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Klang.
