TransLink said bus routes were disrupted Friday morning as snow accumulated downtown and across the rest of the region. Classes at Simon Fraser University's Burnaby campus are cancelled due to weather from 12:30 p.m. onward. Snowfall warnings for west Vancouver Island and the Sunshine Coast have since been added to other warnings already in effect for Metro Vancouver, the Fraser Valley and other parts of Vancouver Island.
