He was hit by a busA traffic police has been killed as a bus hit him in Dhaka's Jatrabari area. The deceased, identified as Md Khairul, was an assistant sub-inspector (ASI) working in the Demra zone of the Eastern Division of the Traffic police eastern division. Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) police outpost In-Charge Bachchu Mia said: "He was hit by a blue-coloured bus. Following the accident, fellow cops took Khairul to the hospital in critical condition around 2:30am where the on-duty physician declared him dead on arrival." The Traffic Division and concerned police stations have been made aware of the accident, he added.
