Ho Chi Minh City police have suspended a traffic officer who was filmed assaulting a car driver on the street. Lieutenant Vo Nguyen Minh Khoa, 25, will have to submit a report on the case, police said. According to Khoa, he had been sent to a nearby traffic accident and was returning to a checkpoint when he saw the car driver changing lane without signaling. Police are looking for the driver and the one who filmed the incident. Khoa apparently lost his temper and hit the driver before leaving without filing the driver’s violation, he said.
