The Liberian Leader, President George Manneh Weah who is currently visiting two West African nations, Ivory Coast and Ghana was today honored by traditional chiefs and elders during his first leg visit in Ivory Coast. During this colorful occasion, according to our Correspondent, the Liberian leader was gowned and showered him with a traditional gift items including a walking stick, engraved with an Elephant symbol. He was also capped during the ceremony giving him a traditional Ivorian name as s “Étoile”, meaning “Star”. The Chiefs congratulated the Liberian leader on his presidency and urged him to work hard and deliver on the mandate given to him by the people of Liberia.
