Share:Trading of Afghan currency has witnessed a pause as dealers are uncertain whether the current currency will be applicable after new government in Afghanistan. As per the dealers, trade was paused after speculations rose that whether the new government led by Taliban will continue the same currency or not because generally in such circumstances the currency is either depreciated or changed altogether. It is pertinent to note that only a week earlier, the buying rate for Afghani currency was Rs1.50 and was sold at Rs1.75.
