KUALA LUMPUR (March 14): Trading in the shares of information technology and security solutions provider Digistar Corp Bhd will be suspended tomorrow (March 15), between 9am and 2pm, pending the release of a material annoucement. “The request for suspension is made under subparagraph 3.1(c) of Practice Note 2 on Requests for Suspension of the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Securities,” Digistar said in a regulatory filing with Bursa Malaysia today. Sources told The Edge Financial Daily that Digistar will be launching its advanced security system — Panther Mobile – and it has roped in Celcom Axiata Bhd as partner. Digistar closed one sen or 5.26% higher at 20 sen today, giving it a market capitalisation of RM119.83 million, after 57.06 million shares were traded, compared with the average 2.3 million shares registered in the last 200 days.
