A Filipino businessman said he lost around 1.8 million Korean won, or over P87,000, to a thief who broke into his condominium unit in Quezon City. John Xavier Francia, 29, told the police that he stepped out of his unit in Bright Family condominium at Barangay Laging Handa on Sunday to talk to his fiancée on the phone. ADVERTISEMENTWhen he returned past noon, he noticed that someone had forcibly opened his door. Francia said that he lost the money he kept inside a cashbox. The police said the box had been turned over to investigators who would check for fingerprints.
