According to Patel Truff, the owner of Dream King Restaurant, the fire is suspected to have been started by an electric fault. “The fire broke out at around 10pm and we suspect an electric short circuit triggered it because it spread fast,” said Mr Truff. “We called the fire brigade and they responded fast, but the fire was wild. I have incurred a loss of more than Sh3 million,” said Truff.
