Global IT spending is expected to reach a total of $3.79 trillion by the end of the year, up 1.1% from 2018 but down from a 3.2% growth rate projected in January, the enterprise tech research group said in the report, published Wednesday. The results are based on an analysis of sales by thousands of technology firms across a range of IT products and services, including hardware, software and telecommunications segments.
