Tractors write-offs after fire on Southland farmTwo tractors have been destroyed by a fire on a Southland farm. A fire communications spokesman said Otautau firefighters were called to a tractor fire at a property on the Otautau - Wreys Bush Rd just after 1pm on Christmas Day. When the firefighters arrived they found two tractors well involved, the spokesman said. A fire crew with a tanker from the Otautau brigade attended the call and were able to extinguish the fire and dampen down hot spots, the spokesman said. The tractors involved in the fire were totalled, he said.
