It's not exactly that desperate times call for desperate measures; the decades-old Corolla nameplate still is the second-best-selling Toyota vehicle after the nearly as venerable mid-size Camry sedan. Front-seat space in Corolla is fine, but understandably, taller drivers or passengers may get that cramped feeling. Perhaps surprisingly, Corolla sedan's back seat has adequate space for adults, while the sloping roofline of the hatchback limits that space. For many cash-strapped members of the millennial and Z generations, Corolla offers a great alternative if they want a new vehicle. There's nothing more reliable than a Toyota that as been improved, refined and re-refined over the course of 40 years in the market.
