The stench in Winterton, North Lincolnshire, is so bad that even passing motorists are forced to roll up their windows. The operator of the stinking site, Biffa, has refused to pull the plug further angering residents, reports Grimsby Live. Winterton town mayor Don Johnson and Brigg and Goole MP Andrew Percy both confirmed they were in discussions with Biffa about the problem.
