Four people died Monday afternoon in a road accident that occurred at Katakala area in Narok county. "Traffic police in the area were able to quickly rush to the scene," National Police Service (NPS) spokesperson Resila Atieno said. This represents a 2.82 per cent increase in road crash fatalities recorded during the same period last year. There were over 11,502 road crashes recorded over the same period last year during which period 9,874 fatalities were recorded. Between July 1, to July 7, 2024, a total of 101 road fatalities were reported across the country.
