A tourist who asked for advice on driving from Sydney to New Zealand has been mocked and ridiculed online, with people suggesting they check a world map or get a water car. "Is it possible that I hire a car in Sydney and drive throughout till Queenstown and drop the car there. I am recently told that driving across two countries require seperate (sic) car rental agreement," the poster wrote. Another user replied and said the tourist would need a water car and a lot of luck.
