GEORGE TOWN: An Australian tourist has been missing for more than a week here. George Town CID chief Deputy Supt Helmi Sulaiman said Jenkins Annapuranee left her husband in their hotel for a dental treatment in Pulau Tikus at 3pm on Dec 13. “The woman, however, suddenly asked the driver to drop her off at the traffic lights junction of Jalan Scotland and Jalan Batu Gantung. DSP Helmi said the woman failed to return to her husband since then and a missing person’s report was lodged. Those who know of her whereabouts can contact Sjn Zali of the Jalan Patani police station at 04-2181884 or 019-4117572.
