Tourism for all: A cultural extravaganza organised by the Ministry of Tourism. | Photo Credit: Shiv Kumar Pushpakarmore-inThe Ministry of Tourism is organising a three-day event on Rajpath lawns beginning on Monday to celebrate the culmination of a 21-day “ParyatanParv”, a nation-wide tourism festival. The programme is being organised with the objective of drawing focus on the benefits of tourism, showcasing the cultural diversity of the country and reinforcing the principle of “Tourism for All”. Crafts melaThe crafts mela with have 50 stalls showcasing diverse handicrafts and handlooms of the country, arranged by the State governments and Ministry of Textiles. To showcase their tourism potential, 15 theme-based State pavilions will be set up at the fest.
