In response to the recovery of the Chinese market, Tourism Seychelles has launched a series of trade workshops. The Tourism Seychelles China office successfully completed the first trade workshops with leading agents from Beijing, Tianjin, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Shanghai, Suzhou, and Hangzhou. Commenting on the significance of the workshops, the Director for China stated: “The role of the Seychelles trade partners in the Chinese market, like many others, is critical. Therefore, it is essential to ensure that Chinese travel agents are well-versed in our destination, products and services. In 2023, Tourism Seychelles plans to continue meeting with Chinese agents throughout the country to rekindle the Chinese market and increase Chinese arrivals this year.”
