Tourism Bureau expands 'Taiwan Pass' cards in center and TaitungTAIPEI, Taiwan -- The Tourism Bureau has recently added two new "Taiwan Pass" cards for discounts on tourism-related services and products in Central Taiwan and Taitung, respectively. The main features of the Taiwan Pass are "to help tourists save money, save time and save good memories," the Tourism Bureau said. Liu Hsi-lin (劉喜臨), deputy chief of the Tourism Bureau, pointed out that the Taiwan Pass can be used not only by foreign tourists but R.O.C. Deputy Minister of Transportation and Communications Frank Fan (范植谷) said that due to the success of the two "Taiwan Pass" cards, the Tourism Bureau is launching two new cards this year for Central Taiwan and Taitung, respectively, to better integrate the promotion of local tourism resources.
