Rajan Mathews, DG, COAI has spoken to ET Now on the crucial meeting on providing interconnect row arising between the new entrant RIL Jio and other telecom operators. Jio has already accused the GSM operators of denying interconnection to its customers. Edited excerpts:Nahata of Reliance Jio raised the fact that in the letter that was sent out to the operators COAI was not specifically mentioned as an invitee albeit the letter very clearly referred to the COAI letters as the particular nexus for the meeting. Hopefully, it is not fatal to the final resolution but all sides of the parties have been working to try and resolve the issue. COAI is trying to aggregate and represent the majority members of the COAI which is everybody in this particular instance as oppose to just Reliance.
