Taxi drivers decided to convert the once busy expressway to a motor park because of the bad road. Truthfully, the Nkpolu section of the East-West road has all the trappings of a Nigerian motor park, except that it is not fenced. The bus or taxi that dropped them earlier would then pick passengers from the makeshift Nkpolu motor park to Choba. Because of this bad road, the shock absorbers, shafts, hubs and tyres of my vehicle go bad within a short time,” Roland added. He expressed dissatisfaction that the road was being turned to makeshift motor park by taxi drivers.
