Despite their golden opportunity against the bottom of the table side, Paul Robinson thinks there is an unknown problem at the club. The former England goalkeeper has pointed at the form of Alli alongside the contract drama surrounding Christian Eriksen, Jan Vertonghen and Toby Alderweireld, who can all leave on a free in the summer. He does, however, predict Alli will recover from a difficult start to the season and come good for Tottenham again. “He’s been indifferent this year, hence his omission from the England squad, but I think it’s difficult as a player when you’re not playing well and the team around you is not playing well,” Robinson told Football Insider of Alli.
