Spurs star Eriksen went public on his wish to leave the club this week, with Inter Milan weighing up whether to rival Real Madrid for his signature. Draxler, who has 49 caps for Germany, started 22 of their 32 league games last season, scoring three goals and managing eight assists. He also occupies the same positions Eriksen has been used in by Spurs, playing primarily as an attacking midfielder or wider left. “Real Madrid is a step up but then it would take Real Madrid picking up the phone and making contact with Tottenham and say that they want Christian,” Eriksen said.
