Tottenham fans displayed a banner in support of Arsenal star Bukayo Saka following the nightmare ordeal he went through at the end of Euro 2020. Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford also missed and all three were subject to racial abuse following the game. Bukayo Saka of Arsenal acknowledges the fans in attendance as he is applauded onto the fieldSpurs hosted Arsenal in their final pre-season friendly on Sunday and the Tottenham fans showed their support for Saka. The youngster replaced Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the second half and was greeted with a standing ovation and a round of applause. With the game petering out in the second half, Son came up trumps for Spurs after striking low past Bernd Leno to his left to give his side a 1-0 lead in the 79th minute.
