Manchester United and Tottenham have both made contact with AS Monaco star Islam Slimani’s representatives over a potential move back to the Premier League. Red Devils manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer now only has youngster Mason Greenwood as a recognised first-team striker. Meanwhile, Tottenham forward Harry Kane ruptured a tendon in his hamstring against Southampton on New Year’s Day. Both Solskjaer, and Spurs boss Jose Mourinho, are plotting moves for Slimani before the end of the transfer window, according to RMC Sport, and have made enquiries.
