(Photo: Getty)Tottenham have agreed a deal to sign Chelsea flop Timo Werner from RB Leipzig on loan with an option to make the transfer permanent at the end of the season. But most interestingly, an option to buy Werner for around €15-20million (£13-17m) has also been included in the deal. Ironically, Werner could well make his debut against the other club that wanted to sign him, with Spurs travelling to Old Trafford to take on United on 14th January. Werner established himself as one of the most highly-rated forwards at RB Leipzig before joining Chelsea in 2020 for £47.5m.
