The Toronto Raptors will celebrate their historic NBA Finals win with a Monday-morning parade ending with a party at Nathan Phillips Square, Mayor John Tory says. The parade will begin at the team’s practice facility near the Canadian National Exhibition grounds around 10 a.m. Monday before making its way to City Hall, Tory told CBC Radio Friday morning. The team will be expected at Nathan Phillips Square around noon, where a stage will be set up with entertainment, he said. Tory later urged employers to give people time off Monday for the parade. Following the Raptors’ victory, many took to Twitter to express their joy.
