Royston Smith, the MP for Southampton Itchen, registered a claim to pay for car parking during a food bank visit in November last year, according to official records. Kingsland Community Centre, the ‘pop up’ food bank visited by Mr Smith said they had helped 600 families across four sessions in October. A month before his visit, Mr Smith opposed a bid to force the Government to extend free school meals to be extended until Easter. During the campaign, Mr Smith said he was “content” to hear Nigel Farage’s former party weren’t standing against him. Ryan Donovan shot two officers, killing one, before Mr Smith tackled and disarmed him.
