This guy won't have to wait much longer for summer — it's rolling into the GTA with a 30 C scorcher on Saturday. Sunday’s slightly cooler (a high of 29 C) but the script doesn’t change much until Tuesday, when highs peak at the mid-20s. Saturday’s noontime weather could seem mildly frigid when August rolls around but we’re still thawing out from winter. Night-time temperatures are expected to cool down to a comfortable 20 C, according to Environment Canada. Muggy heat this afternoon could follow into the evening, with a 30 per cent chance of showers—possibly even a thunderstorm—in the works.
