A Toronto teacher was arrested Friday on 11 counts of charges relating to sexual assault. A teacher, identified on Friday as from Edgewood Public School, allegedly assaulted eight girls between September 2017 and May 2018, according to police. ( Toronto Police )Edgewood Public School, near Scarborough Town Centre, is comprised of students from Kindergarten to Grade 8. The teacher was a French teacher who occasionally worked in Special Education, according to a letter sent to parents of Edgewood Public School students on Friday. Remy Perry, 53, is charged with three counts of sexual assault, three counts of sexual interference, four counts of assault, and one count of assault with a weapon.
