Toronto rapper K Money charged in connection to human trafficking investigation


A young Toronto rap artist is the latest to be charged in an ongoing human trafficking investigation into the confinement and exploitation of two teenagers last November. The case involves the alleged sexual assault and exploitation of an 18-year-old woman over the course of last November, according to Toronto police. Two Brampton men — Deion Cuvilie, 21, and Kristos Shepard, 19 — were arrested in December. They face a total of 27 charges, ranging from trafficking in persons by recruiting to unauthorized possession of a firearm to sexual assault. “K Money” is the stage name of Kareemallah Muhammad, a 22-year-old rapper, who police allege knows Deion Cuvilie.
