Toronto police upgrade charges after man dies from injuries in fight at Bluffer’s Park

Toronto police have upgraded charges to manslaughter after a man died from injuries sustained in a fight at Bluffer’s Park last month. Officers initially arrested a suspect for aggravated assault on July 20 following a physical altercation the previous morning at Bluffer's Park near Brimley and Kingston Roads in Scarborough. As a result, one of the men was taken to hospital in critical condition for a head injury, Toronto police said. Nate Hill, 37, from Toronto, had his charge upgraded to manslaughter on July 31, police confirm Sunday. Toronto police is asking anyone who was in the area of Bluffer's Park or the marina area between 6 a.m. and 9 a.m. on July 19 to contact them.
