Toronto police seek public help for tip in 1998 cold case death of pregnant woman

For the second time in two weeks, Toronto police are appealing to the public for information in a cold case from more than two decades ago. Oglive, a resident of British Columbia, was in Toronto for five weeks before she was killed, police said in a news release Monday. Oglive had been working as a sex trade worker in the Gerrard St. E. and Church St. area at the time of her death. A man’s DNA profile has been developed from the case but not found in the national database, homicide cold case Det.-Sgt. “What we need is a name to go with this DNA,” Gallant said.
