Toronto police are looking for drivers of two cars involved in an overnight shoot-out near Chinatown

Toronto police are looking for the drivers of two vehicles involved in a shooting Wednesday overnight at an intersection approaching Chinatown. At roughly 3 a.m., a white and a red vehicle were seen following each other in the area of Spadina Ave. and Queen St. W., police spokesperson Katrina Arrogante told the Star. After an interaction at the intersection, the driver of the red vehicle opened fire on the white vehicle, striking a passenger in what investigators believe is a white Chevrolet Malibu, Arrogante said. Approximately 12-15 shots were fired and the white vehicle is believed to have several bullet holes, police said in a news release Thursday. The injured passenger is being described as a 33-year-old man who walked in to hospital, himself, and was later transported to another hospital, Arrogante said.
