A Toronto man is facing additional charges in a child sexual abuse material investigation. Toronto police on Thursday announced additional charges being against Richard Burdett, 55, of Toronto: four counts of luring a child under 18 years; two counts of sexual exploitation; making child pornography; two counts of possession of child pornography; and two counts of accessing child pornography. In April, Burdett, was charged with child luring; making child pornography; possessing child pornography; accessing child pornography; and making available child pornography. Police said Burdett ran a Reddit community where he shared scripted audio pornography, some of which appeared to include content about minors and school students. A Reddit community with more than 5,000 members started in 2017 by the user f_stop_Fitzgerald was taken down soon after Toronto police announced Burdett’s initial arrest.
