The city is set for a muggy, hot day with temperatures forecasted to hit a record-breaking high of 32 C. “It’s going to be very gross out today,” said meteorologist Mark Schuster from Environment Canada. The record set in 1945 was 31.7 C.Toronto could face record-breaking temperatures Wednesday. Schuster said while today is especially hot, temperatures are actually going to dip below seasonal averages in the next few days.
