The "Tupac" latte, an off-the-menu drink with five shots, has put a Toronto cafe in hot water. But the cafe says the drink was taken "totally, totally out of context." Rapper Tupac Shakur, who was shot to death in Las Vegas in 1996, is the inspiration behind the "Tupac Latte" at Toronto's Run and Gun Coffee. But the name, says Lootz, has been taken “totally, totally out of context. “The Tupac latte is not on our menu, it was never, really, meant to be on there,” he said.
