Several books, actually, filled with the handwritten thoughts, ideas and aspirations of the Toronto actor, writer and comedian. “(The desk) represents me coming into my adult life, my professional life,” explains Charley. Even they don’t know, Charley admits, although they managed to parlay their education into a career in entertainment. Charley will perform their award-winning solo show, THOTS & PRAYERS, at Comedy Bar’s 945 Bloor St. W. location on Sept. 2. For those heading back to class, Charley believes note-taking by hand can help with learning, and means nothing gets erased.
