The Toronto Zoo’s Indian rhino calf was finally given a name Thursday, as keepers unveiled a giant nameplate in front of his enclosure. In a video posted to the Toronto Zoo’s Youtube page Thursday, mom and tot take a brisk stroll around their habitat. The name Nandu, which means “one who is cheerful and happy,” was chosen in an online vote that began in April. The zoo says he weighs more than 500 pounds and puts on about 5 pounds per day. He has also been introduced to the outdoors, seems to love going through the mud with his mom, Asha.
