A Toronto Police officer has tested positive for COVID-19, the second employee to do so thus far. In an email to the Star, Toronto police spokesperson Meaghan Gray wrote that the officer, who is from 14 Division, notified their supervisors of their infection on Thursday. “We are working with public health authorities who are conducting an in-depth investigation related to the individual and their contacts,” Gray wrote. Last week, the agency confirmed that a civilian employee had also tested positive.
