Chicago (7-16-6, 27 points), playing its first game under interim head coach Frank Klopas, had its two-game unbeaten run end. Toronto (6-15-7, 25 points) won consecutive games for the first time this season and is 3-0-1 in its past four games. Toronto FC rallied to win their second straight, defeating the visiting Chicago Fire 3-1 on Sunday. Mark Delgado brought Toronto level with a shot from the top of the box off a cross from Shaffelburg in the 44th minute, to tie it 1-1. Soteldo got by the Chicago defense to make it 3-1 from the top of the goal area in the 70th minute.
